Are you ready for an adventure in God's Word? I know you are, so keep your hands and feet inside the car, buckle up and prepare for a "wild ride" in the Word of God. The book of Esther is filled with mystery, suspense, romance, intrigue and, a lot of parties! Whew! Be prepared, we will also be bobbing and weaving our way around this thought: "It's tough being a woman".
The Kick-off is a very important part of the study, this is the part where we will get to know one another a little better, have some fun, watch us make fools of ourselves (on an even deeper level than usual) and watch the first DVD lesson. So, you don't want to miss it. September 12, from 8:30- Noon. Please tell us if you will not be there!
What you need to know for the kick-off:
- Call or email us if you cannot attend the kick-off
- We will be serving breakfast
- Wear fancy, girly clothes...do it up!
- We need donations of fruit (cut, if it s cantaloupe, etc.), muffins and pastries, so if you can donate we need you to bring it to the church Friday night before 5:00, please call us and tellus what you are donating.
What you need to bring:
- Your Bible
- Index cards and small journal
- Colored pencils or pens
- Some recipes, typed or written on 8 1/2 x 11 paper (one or two or more if you like!)
One more bit of information: we want to let youknow before the 12th, in case you don't already know, that Pam has been diagnosed with DCIS which is non-invasive breast cancer. At the writing of this letter, we are unsure of dates and times of surgeries etc. So, we are planning everything as usual right now. We may be forced to make changes to the schedule, but we will make every effort to keep things as "normal" as possible. We would greatly appreciate your prayers at this time for healing, of course, and wisdom to the physicians and us as we help each other through this crisis, and of course for my Mom personally as she deals with this circumstance. We trust our LORD to see us through. We do not want our kick-off to be a sad, bummer of a day, but a celebration of what we will learn in God's Word! See you there!
Pam and Lisa
I am not going to publish our phone # or email address on the blog. You may comment back or look up our numbers or call the church and Pat will let you know how to get a hold of us.

Hey, WOW ladies! It's me, Pam, and I just wanted to tell you "Thank You" for your prayers!
The LORD has me in the palm of His hand and I am feeling very secure. I know that He has a plan and purpose for me "going through" (remember the "Daniel" study?)this test, trial, whatever you want to call it.
He is a Wonderful, Loving, Mericiful Heavenly Father!
See you on Saturday the 12th for our kick off! I am looking forward to this study as I pray you are also. He has so much more to tell us about Himself through His Word.
Hugs, Pam
